I love snail mail.
Going to the mailbox and finding a letter/postcard/package waiting for me can make my whole life look a little {or a lot!} brighter.
I also love to write letters. I always try to use my favorite pen, my best handwriting...and some great stationery. My letters would not be complete without something pretty.
It's really easy to make your own stationery, too!
All you really need is:
-paper
-stamps {rubber, acrylic, whatever}
-an inkpad
Be creative! Stamp a design very lightly for a background, then ink your stamp really well and create a focal image. You can use cardstock to make some cards, or cut some plain old printer paper in half to create writing paper. It's simple, and it can be personalized however you like.
And whoever you send your letter to will really appreciate it!
Tell me, how do you feel about stationery and snail mail?

So cute!!! I LOVE getting mail!!! Its the best!!
Your stationery is beautiful. I love getting mail except for bills!
Thank you for visiting my blog.
Have a nice day.
Love the stationery and I also love getting handwritten letters in the mail! My dear grandmother is the best letter writer I know. She has 24 grandkids, and writes each of us for birthdays and throughout the year...I probably get at least a letter a month from her! And her handwriting is absolutely beautiful!
Blessings, Grace
Post mail is my favorite too! My mom was a stickler for sending Thank You notes when I was a kid and, thankfully I've continued on with the practice.
Your stationary is definitely cute!
They're beautiful and the color is perfect! I love getting mail, and I'm so glad you were able to join the party again! You rock!

That is SO pretty! I don't know anybody who wouldn't LOVE getting something like that in the mail!!
Love your stationery, the purple is so pretty. I love getting pretty mail. :-)
I love pretty, girlie stationery. I don't write many letters but when I do, I want to do it with a flourish. This is gorgeous!
Gorgeous. Email is convenient and necessary...hand written is to cherish. Have you seen the meme on Fridays - it is about real mail (most people do vintage postcards) but in the rules, it just has to be related to mail.

It's more of an obsession. It started 18 years ago, when I was 12... I received my first pen pal. It escalated to the point where I had over 20 friends who lived in all corner of the earth. Since then, life has become busy and I no longer get to enjoy such a colourful treat in my mailbox. I often think back on those friends who enriched my life, shared in my growing.
Extra money as a young girl... Stationery. Even now, I have days that I get giddy over cute cards, and pretty paper.
i'm obsessed with it! i love paper anything. it makes me smile. i participate in every swap i can find online and that's why i decided to send randome Etsy goodness to my followers this year- because who doesn't love happy surprise in the mailbox?!
