They do make a stement in that second picture - gorgeous!
I like poppies - though not for weddings. ;) Our flowwers were just casual seasonal mix - very low key. We had a country wedding brunch. Sweet and simple.
My flowers were my favorite aspect of our wedding- I still like what we picked. My bouquet was simple... just a bunch of white roses. You can actually see them in the first picture of my post today! :]
Wow those peonies ARE gorgeous! They're big & poofy I love it!! I found you via SheyB's blog. =) I had Calle Lillies for my wedding. I fell in love w/those while we lived in Cali.
For my wedding I had Stargazer Lillies and they are still my favorite. I've got lots in the garden!. My best buddy gave me a bouquet of her white ruffled peonies for Mother's Day, they are amazing. Love the contributions to the giveaway at ShayB, but I like your blog too! and now will follow.
I carried red roses for my autumn wedding, but had I had a spring wedding, peonies or tulips would have been my first choice!!! Nothing beats the heavenly scent of peonies, Love Them!!!
My favorite flowers are gerber daisies. My wedding bouquet was a mixture of six different colors of them (a different one for each bridesmaid/groomsman) mixed with hot pink roses. It was so pretty!

I was in a wedding where we carried peonies. They were so lovely.
When we renewed our vows I carried hydrangeas. So different and so pretty :)
lots of hydrangeas! and my reception centerpieces were wild flowers/hand picked from my mom's garden randomness.
My favorite flowers are:
Peonies
Gardenias
Hydrangeas
The Peonies would make a beautiful wedding bouquet.
Just popped by from Shey B's blog.
I used all white flowers... snowballs, hydrangeas, roses and daisy's. It was beautiful.
Peonies are great too. I can't wait for mine to bloom.
Those are gorgeous! I carried roses...
Came over from Shey's blog. Peonies are FABULOUS!! But you'd have to get married in June...or pay a fortune =)
I was married in July and had Sahara roses, fresh herbs, and scented Geraniums in my bouquet. I loved it!

Tulips - my life long favorite.

Sigh.
Eleven years later, and I still can smell them...
