Hello lovelies!

It's Friday, and I've got lots to do...

The Sweetheart has family visiting from out of town,

it's my sister's birthday tomorrow,

Since Blogger decided to have problems yesterday, no {color love}...
which is sad because I had some really pretty finds to share!
But, they will just have to be posted next week instead.

What are your plans for the weekend?
I'll be doing some fabric shopping {fun, fun, fun!},
sewing another one of these cute skirts,
working on some new blooms for the shop,
spending time with the Sweetheart
{we're getting married in 20 weeks, babe!},
reading, piano... lots of fun stuff. :)

I had grand plans for a {color love} post this morning...and then I overslept. Oops!

Oh, and we're out of creamer, so I didn't even have coffee. Double oops!

This weekend promises to be pretty busy for me.

My new sisters are throwing me a shower tonight, which I'm super excited about. :)

My younger sister's graduation party is tomorrow.

I've been working on projects, planning for Christmas {only 46 days!}, crocheting like crazy.

As for me?

I'll be celebrating my love's birthday tonight,

shopping for needles/thread {etc.} with my cousin on Saturday,

and spending a long day at church on Sunday.

{memorial day weekend}

Just popping in for a quick minute today...

I realized that this weekend is actually Memorial Day weekend, so I probably won't be around again until Tuesday.

I'm spending the weekend preparing for a bridal shower, making bunches of these beautiful poms (in blue and white),

resting, hanging out at home, watching movies, reading, baking, and all that good stuff. :)

Well, I think my sewing machine might like me again. I'm hoping it lasts, because I have very little patience for that machine!

So on this lovely weekend, I'm hoping to finish some sewing projects and {maybe} try some new ideas that have been swirling about in my head.

First of all, I just have to say it. My sweetheart is amazing. =)

Look at what he surprised me with this week...

Now, if you didn't know already, I absolutely love Gussy stuff. LOVE it! If you've never seen any of Maggie's work before, you are missing out. Seriously, check out her shop.

And Maggie is one of the sweetest people I have ever met via blog. She really is. Have you ever read her blog? She's even giving away an adorable zipped pouch this weekend!

This really was just a post to sing the praises of Gussy. Is that pathetic?
